The 2013 Season

The 2013 Season

The past 2013 season was a great season other than the fact we weren’t completely booked this year. First and second season, were some of the strangest we’ve had in the past.  We had probably 40” of snow from late sept. to the middle of October.  This had the elk moving, but the weather had them extremely scattered out. But all the snow piled the elk in for the later seasons. The last couple of years we have had a hard time booking the later seasons.  And let me tell you they are well rested and bringing the elk in.  During the third season hunt I was in elk everyday, (bulls and cows).  One morning I counted 7 bulls, and 32 cows while sitting on the dug way blind in cow creek.  Forth season I was seeing hundreds of elk everyday, one afternoon I had 80 head of elk cross 50 yards in front of my vehicle.
