September 2014

       September is here and the rut is already starting. I am freaking jazzed up for the next couple of months elk, elk, and more elk. There is elk sign everywhere. The weather has been good and we are seeing it drop down in the thirties at night and colors are starting to change, the climate is seeming to be back on the average. Comparing the climate to last year we are probably about a month early which is normal. Last year in September it was hot and the elk didn't to seem to have much of a Rut. Last year I think I only heard about five bugles during September I was out last night and saw a few different groups of elk and already was hearing the bulls bugling. It is early September and we seem to be on the start of having a great hunting season. In the next couple of days I am going to get some game cameras out and hopefully get some good pics, which I will update on the website as soon as I can.
